How to solve level 7, step by step
- Answer the five clued rungs first. On the level 7 ladder they solve to LASS, LASH, GASH, WASH and WISH.
- Now put those five in the one order where each word differs from its neighbour by a single letter. That forced order (the same puzzle read either way up) links them like this:
- LASS becomes LASH by changing the fourth letter from S to H.
- LASH becomes GASH by changing the first letter from L to G.
- GASH becomes WASH by changing the first letter from G to W.
- WASH becomes WISH by changing the second letter from A to I.
