How to Fix iPhone Call Failed Error?
Toggle Airplane Mode
Swipe up from any screen of your iPhone in order to access the Control Center. You will get the Airplane icon on the upper left-hand corner of the Control Center. Tap on that icon. Wait for a moment. Tap on that icon again. This will turn off the Airplane mode. Check if this process fixes Call Failed error on your iPhone.
Date and Time
Check if your iPhone is displaying date and time correctly. If you have traveled from a different time zone, then that may have changed some of the settings. Check if your iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi. Now go to “Settings”. Click on “General”. Now tap on “Date and Time”. Turn on “Set Automatically”. This will automatically update the date and time on your smartphone.
*#31# is an iPhone code to disable your outgoing anonymity status. Maybe you have set your iPhone number to be hidden in all outgoing call by mistake. This is one of the reasons for Call Failure error appearing every time you try to make or receive a call.
There are two ways to check it. First is to dial *#31# from your iPhone. The second one is to go to “Settings”. Click on “Phone”. Then click on “Show My Caller ID”. If the button color is green, then all is good.
Turning off and turning your iPhone back on is the easiest way to solve any phone issues. Hold the power button for a few seconds. A red slider will appear. Move the slider from left to right. Network Carrier Settings Update

This process will delete all your files and personal data. So, you must back up your data beforehand. Open “Settings”, click on “General”, and then click on “Reset”. Select “Reset All Contents and Settings”. Enter your passcode. Select “Erase iPhone” to confirm.
Restoring deletes each and everything from your iPhone. Your mobile will be as good as new. So, there will no call errors in it. Make sure you back up your files before proceeding with the steps. Your iPhone should be fully charged and must be connected to a stable internet connection. Without the internet, your iPhone may get stuck in recovery mode. Connect iPhone to Mac or PC with the latest iTunes version installed inside by using a lightning cable. Click “Restore” in the Summary tab. Before the process starts, iTunes will download the firmware first. Wait until the restoring process is completed.
