Grow from a tiny minnow into the biggest fish in the pond by eating smaller fish, and survive as long as you can without touching a bigger one.

Each fish you eat scores points: risky near-your-size bites pay up to 5, easy minnows pay 1. When you grow big enough the whole pond rescales, you start hunting again at a new level, and every level multiplies your points. Your final score is everything you ate when the run ends.

💡 Tips

Colors do the thinking for you: mint is food, coral is danger, purple always stings.
Near-size mint fish pay the most points, but the margin is thin. Check twice before a big bite.
You cannot outrun a big fish in a straight line. Turn across its path instead, they never stop chasing the far edge.
When the pond rescales after a growth spurt, everything shrinks together, so don't panic if the water suddenly looks crowded again.

How do I play Fish Eat Fish?

Tap anywhere in the water (or use WASD and arrow keys) and your fish swims there and stops. Hold and drag to steer continuously, handy for dodging. Swim into fish smaller than you to eat them and grow. Touching a bigger fish or a jellyfish ends the run instantly.

How do I know which fish are safe to eat?

By color. Fish you can eat are mint green, fish that can eat you are coral red, and purple jellyfish are never safe at any size. As you grow, coral fish flip to mint the moment you outgrow them.

What happens when my fish gets really big?

The pond rescales: everything shrinks together, as if the water got wider, and you keep hunting at a new pond level. Each level multiplies the points every snack is worth, so late-game bites score far more than early ones.
