Arrange every pen's letters so that all across and down words are real words at the same time. Only one arrangement solves the whole grid.

📊 How you score

Your score is Boo Points, and higher is better. Every grid has its own points ceiling based on its size, so Sunday's full board is worth more than Monday's quick one. Solve fast and you keep most of it; dawdle and it decays. The clock still runs so you can watch your pace, but the board ranks by points. Boo can reveal a whole pen if you get stuck, up to three times a grid, but each one costs the points those cells were worth, so it is a real trade rather than a free answer. Solving on consecutive days builds your solve streak.

💡 Tips

Start with the smallest pens. A two-letter pen often has only one order that makes a word, so it settles itself.
A letter that works across might break the word going down. Check both before you commit.
If a finished word turns red it is not in the dictionary, so something in that pen has to move.
Work outwards from what you have placed. A settled letter is a free letter for the word crossing it.

What kind of puzzle is Crosscramble?

Can a letter move from one pen to another?

Never. That is the one rule. Letters rearrange freely inside their own pen but can never cross a pen outline, which is what makes the grid solvable by logic instead of guesswork.

Yes. Every grid is checked by a solver before it ships, so exactly one arrangement satisfies every word. That is what makes it a logic puzzle rather than a guessing game: it can always be reasoned out.

Does everyone get the same Crosscramble each day?

Yes. Everyone playing on a given day gets the identical grid, so the daily board is a fair race on points. Grids grow across the week, from a quick nine by nine on Monday to a full size one on Sunday, and each grid's own size sets how many points it's worth.
